This study was to identify drug abuse status & the relating factors of middle school students.
The sujects were 937 and the data were collected from July 1 to 14,1997. The questionnaire that developed by Korean Adolescents Association was modified and used. It contained 48 items.
Data was analysed by SAS program.
The rasults were as follows
1. The proportion of current drinker, smoker was 943%, 7.73% respectively and the proportion of stimulant, hyponoties, antitussives, analgegics, sedatives, inhalents was o,989/o, 1.62%, 19.98%, 24.38%. 196%, 097%.
2. Drug abuse was related to sex, school grades, attitude of school life, relation of parents & teacher, relating factors to friends & parents, deliquent behaviors.
